At ABS, we strongly believe in supporting #seafarers’ well-being. That’s why we were excited when Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. (EPS) invited us onboard one of their recently delivered Pure Car, Truck Carrier (PCTC) #vessels near Singapore to play a game of padel tennis to experience one of the sporting initiatives in their Life at Sea Programme. In their pursuit to continually improve life onboard, EPS has equipped their PCTCs with a padel court, which plays a key role in supporting a culture of sporting excellence by combining a fun, physical activity with social and team-building benefits. We were honored to have Panos Koutsourakis, ABS Vice President, Global Sustainability, join the EPS shore and sea crew for a friendly game, demonstrating that a little fun can go a long way towards boosting morale. Initiatives like these illustrate EPS’s dedication to its seafarers, who are the backbone of the global #maritime industry. We applaud their efforts and look forward to collaborating on future endeavors that prioritize crew well-being at sea.
