As the offshore wind developments are going into deeper waters, floating offshore wind technologies start to be an attractive alternative to the traditional, bottom-fixed offshore wind installations. With the floating technologies comes a different set of challenges.

How is the industry preparing for the challenges associated with capital-intensive projects like floating offshore windfarms?
